PRE CONFERENCE COURSE (PCC)

GUIDELINES FOR CONDUCTING PRE-CONFERENCE COURSE
  1. Abstract submission and enrolment for the Pre-Conference Course at the 53rd IPS National Conference are exclusively open to IPS OL members and registered delegates.
  2. Each delegate may participate in or submit only one Pre-Conference course. They are not permitted to serve as the primary mentor or co-author for more than one presentation. Each PCC course must have one course co-ordinator (chief mentor) and 3 co-mentors as a requirement.
  3. The OL members can participate in only one of the two categories:
    • Pre-Conference course
    • Pre-Conference Table Demonstration
  4. The course should align with the conference theme: Idea to Impact: Innovating Prosthodontics.
  5. The Pre-Conference courses are scheduled to take place at CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
  6. Both the structured abstract and Pre-Conference details must be submitted under one of the specified categories:
    • Removable Prosthodontics
    • Fixed Prosthodontics
    • Implantology
    • Maxillofacial Prosthodontics
    • Esthetic Prosthodontics
    • Full mouth Rehabilitation
    • Digital Dentistry and Prosthodontics
    • 3D Printing in Prosthodontics
    • Temporomandibular Disorders and Prosthetic Management
    • Sleep Medicine and Prosthodontic Management
    • Practice management in Prosthodontics
  7. Each Pre-Conference course must incorporate a mandatory hands-on activity.
  8. The instructors of the course should clarify if participants will receive any digital copies of course materials.
  9. The course coordinator or co-mentors are responsible for arranging necessary materials and infrastructure support independently. The conference organizing committee is not responsible for providing any material support.
  10. A minimum of 30 participants should be registered for the PCC; otherwise, the course is subject to cancellation.

Please note: The conference organizing committee will only provide a hall equipped with audio-visual facilities. They are not responsible for registering participants for the pre-conference course.

SUBMISSION AND UPLOADING OF ABSTRACT
  1. Structured abstracts should be limited to 250 words, preferably including relevant details such as Background, Aim, Objectives, Important concepts and Topics to be covered.
  2. Abstracts must be submitted online only; submissions via email, fax or hard copies will not be accepted.
  3. The deadline for abstract submission and upload is September 15th, 2025.
  4. The list of accepted Pre-Conference courses will be published on the website by October 15th, 2025.
  5. The scientific committee reserves the right to reject Pre-Conference courses that do not meet the specified criteria.
  6. Course coordinators and co-mentors are responsible for ensuring all preparations and arrangements are completed well in advance, including undergoing a preview process before the session begins.
  7. The decisions made by the organizing committee are final and binding in all circumstances.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENT PARTICIPANTS
  1. Each participant may register for only one PCC.
  2. All PCCs will take place at CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
  3. IPS and the 53rd IPS National Conference organizing committee do not assume responsibility for the content, presentation, or philosophy of the PCCs.
  4. For further details, refer to "MORE INFO", which includes information on delivery methods, related specifics, and any instruments participants need to bring.
  5. IPS and the 53rd IPS National Conference organizing committee reserve the right to change, cancel, or modify the PCCs, their venues, related programs, and other conditions without prior notice, if circumstances necessitate.
